My previous work, Tellective Circuit, was an attempt to rebuild a connection with the world out of loneliness and disconnection.
It carried an intense, almost mad emotion, and it felt like I was pouring everything into the music.
Since then, over the past few months, things have calmed down considerably, and that shift is reflected in this new work.
The title of this piece, Anniction, is derived from annica, a Buddhist term meaning impermanence.
That madness and explosive emotion weren’t absolute—they, too, are always changing.
What I’ve been feeling in recent months is a quiet harmony with nature.
You can see this especially in the video works I’ve been posting on Instagram—there’s an increasing effort to synchronize visuals and audio with the natural world.
The electronic sounds generated by synths and laptops may be artificial, but they definitely hold elements of mystery and healing that I find in nature.
For the music video of Nirvana IV, the final track on the standard edition, I actively utilized generative AI.
I believe that rather than the glittery, fake models we see everywhere, true hints of nirvana lie within the realities of our individual lives.
While Nirvana I and II will never be released publicly, I’m glad to have been able to share their sequel.
I hope you’ll enjoy this new work as well.
All proceeds will be used to fund future creative activities.
